kmxexii "Game of Death" blasts right out of the gates, letting you know that EX-MACHINA can put the pedal to the medal. I like the drum track, and the cascading theme is pretty good, but it goes on a bit too long with little to switch things up before the Running Man sound bite. That's why I love the B-side, "Chrysalis", which is deliciously moody, creating a great atmosphere of sci-fi mystery and wonder. The melody is oddly uplifting and its transition back to the dark beauty is flawless. A cool debut. Favorite track: Chrysalis.

I don't know what it is, but in DWTD's discography this record really stands out to me. Picking a favourite track is difficult because all of the songs sound incredible to me, but POISON is probably the most fresh and energetic song in my opinion. zWarhead
